SOIL TECHNICIANS

Our soil samplers provide a professional soil sampling service to our customers throughout the UK. Samplers carry out intensive soil sampling using an ATV and GPS equipment. Full training is provided.

Responsibilities include;
GPS soil sampling for SOYL's nutrient management service
Excellent customer service via phone and on farm
Management & planning of orders
Maintaining regular contact with all customers
Basic ATV and hardware/software maintenance

Requirements;
Email access
Agricultural experience is desirable although not essential.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Salary from £16,000

Based in our head office just outside Newbury, we require a full-time administrative person to process GPS data and create nutrient maps along with general office duties.

Responsibilities include;
GPS nutrient mapping using in-house software
Administrative support to the office and sales team
Liaison with customers, area managers and suppliers via telephone and email

Essential Requirements;
Excellent customer service and telephone manner
Strong IT skills (Windows and Office packages)
Attention to detail
Good organisational skills

AREA MANAGER

The successful applicant will be experienced in sales and have existing contacts throughout the area. Applicants that are BASIS and FACTS registered would be at an advantage. A knowledge of precision farming is preferred but full training will be given.

Day-to-day activities will include introducing farmers and farm managers to the concept of precision farming, selling GPS soil sampling and map production, supporting customers with variable rate spreading systems and installing/training customers with Claas Yield Mapping.

Full training will be provided however a commitment to excellent service is essential.
