How SOYLsense Works

SOYLsense uses remote sensing technology and the HGCA Winter Wheat Canopy Management guidelines to identify and manage variations in crop canopy development.

STEP 1

Crop canopy maps are created at defined growth stages. These can also be used to target field walking where crop development is behind.

STEP 2

Using the HGCA Winter Wheat Canopy Management guidelines, nitrogen application maps are produced.

STEP 3

The suggested application maps can be adjusted based on your knowledge of the
field and season. Maps are then converted to the appropriate spreading format.
