Hands-on precision training will
help growers get the most
from their farm data

mysoyl3Precision crop production leader SOYL has announced plans to deliver a series of free practical data-management training sessions for farmers between November 2018 and February 2019.

“The use of data to help farmers make smarter crop and soil management decisions is becoming more commonplace. Our MySOYL online-platform makes analysis of complex data to aid the decision making process very simple. This training is free and will help growers and farm managers get the most from their own data,” explains Simon Parrington, commercial director for SOYL.

“We’ve always seen keen interest from growers in quality training at quieter times of year. We find that growers who have embedded MySOYL at the heart of their crop production process are the ones who get the most from data.  This practical training will use a number of real farm scenarios to help people learn how to do that well.”

Each of the 30-plus training sessions will have a maximum of 20 growers in attendance and rooms will be equipped with computers to provide a hands-on training experience, led by an expert instructor.

“We have events within reach of all arable regions in England and Scotland. Whenever we have delivered practical training like this, grower feedback has been excellent. We expect demand for places to be good and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis,” Simon adds.
